Client is looking for a talented engineer to join our new Site Reliability Engineering team. This team is focused on system performance, optimization, and keeping our AWS platform running reliably at scale. The ideal candidate should have an extensive background in implementing highly performant solutions, be well rounded, self-motivated and enjoy complex problem solving.Responsibilities
- Optimize microservice and serverless processes on robust distributed system
- Evaluate process performance and be able to identify issues as well as design and implement solutions
- Load test systems to evaluate capacity. Manage capacity planning for growth.
- Troubleshoot production issues providing root cause analysis and designing solutions to prevent future occurrences
- Monitoring of services and creating intelligent alarming for quicker incident detection and resolution.
- Build automations and internal tools to streamline processes.
- Collaborate with other engineers on code reviews, infrastructure, and adhere to software development methodologies
- Participates in the full Agile cycle engagements, including meetings, iterative development, estimations, and design sessions
